Washington (CNN) -- The push to overhaul health care received a major boost Thursday as the American Medical Association and AARP endorsed legislation drafted by top House Democrats. The AARP, the nation's largest organization of older Americans, is a nonpartisan group that advocates for people 50 and older. The AMA, historically an opponent of health care reform, is considered one the nation's most influential doctors' advocacy groups. |

The biggest percentage - 70% - of doctors don't even belong to the AMA, so claiming that the AMA backs this garbage is misleading and laughable. It
doesn't mean squat. And the AARP will probably go out of business because they just stabbed their members that are on Medicare right in the back. They
only backed the Obama thievery debacle because it will allow them to sell more insurance.

I know a lot of seniors who are dumping AARP.
AMA is a liberal organization and I would be shocked if they didn't support it. |

If fully 70% of Doctors truly are not associated with AMA, what real relevance does the endoresement of this organization have anyway?
